Meaning ‘our source of water,’ Sediba Sa Rona is a visionary rebuild in the Khwai Concession, honouring the legacy of the historic Khwai River Lodge. Positioned beneath a lush canopy of leadwood and fig trees, the lodge borders the Moremi Game Reserve and overlooks the life-giving Khwai River. This project is a beacon of sustainability, keeping to the original 15-room footprint to minimise environmental impact while maximising community empowerment through its partnership with Savanna Expeditions.

The lodge features 15 luxury tents, each designed as a private sanctuary with ensuite bathrooms and expansive outdoor decks. These elevated vantage points offer the chance to spot wildlife, from elephants to elusive leopards, right from your room.

Opening December 2026
Singita marks its debut in Botswana with Elela, a name derived from the Setswana word ‘to flow.’ Located in the 400,000-acre Abu Concession, this camp is designed to adapt to the seasons, featuring eight stilted, circular tented suites raised high above the floodplains to allow seasonal waters to pass uninterrupted beneath.

The configuration includes five 1-bedroom tented suites, two 2-bedroom tented suites, and an exclusive-use 4-bedroom tented suite. Each suite features a private pool, lounge, and dining space. Guests in the 4-bedroom villa enjoy a dedicated chef and private wellness spaces, ensuring a bespoke retreat in the heart of the Delta.

Activities include game drives, bush walks, seasonal mokoro rides, boating and fishing, wine experiences, stargazing, yoga and wellness treatments, with helicopter rides available.

Opening April 2026
Perched 3.5 metres above the ground on rosewood timber platforms, this camp is a feat of eco-friendly engineering. Located between two islands in the Kafue River, the design by MRS Studio protects seasonal water flow and allows wildlife to move freely beneath the structures.

The park is defined by its vast Miombo woodlands, broken up by seasonal floodplains, winding rivers, and dambos – dry riverbeds that serve as vital seasonal refuges for local fauna. On the floodplains, you can expect to see massive herds of buffalo and lechwe antelope, which in turn draw in a high concentration of predators, including impressive lion prides. For those with a keen eye for the skies, the region’s birdlife is equally spectacular and diverse.

The property features 10 Pool Villas (ranging from 300-600m2) and three Horizon Terrace Suites nestled between the treetops. Each villa provides boat access and immersive views, while the suites offer a perfect elevated platform for birdwatching.

Situated remarkably close to the Ngorongoro Crater entrance, Laba Ngorongoro Lodge is designed for the early riser. The lodge emphasises ‘meaningful luxuries,’ providing suites with air conditioning and private plunge pools – a rare comfort in this high-altitude environment.

Following the success of its ‘no walls, no doors’ concept in Bali, Banyan Tree Escape brings this soulful philosophy to Ruaha National Park.

Ruaha has a reputation of being one of Tanzania’s best kept safari secrets. It is known for its rugged and magnificent landscapes, its remoteness and wild immensity, and for spectacular concentrations of game. Large herds of elephant and buffalo are a common sighting, and lion and leopard are abundant (home to 10% of the world’s lion population!), as are sightings of the rare sable and roan antelope. The dramatic landscapes are dotted with ancient baobabs, making for a magical vista.

Wilderness expands its footprint into Kenya with its first camp in the Mara Triangle. This region is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife and its role as a primary crossing point during the Great Migration.

With just 12 exclusive tents, Wilderness Mara offers an intimate alternative to the busier sectors of the reserve. Located within the Solio Game Reserve, this camp offers a rare look at one of Africa’s most successful private rhino sanctuaries. This exclusive sanctuary is internationally recognised for its successful rhino breeding programme, offering sightings of both white and endangered black rhinos, as well as other native wildlife including leopards, cheetahs, plains game and bird life. The lodge is positioned in the valley between the Aberdare Mountains and Mount Kenya, providing dramatic vistas of both peaks.

The camp features luxury tents equipped with private plunge pools. The layout ensures that rhinos, giraffes, and zebras can often be seen roaming freely right in front of your private veranda.

As part of the new Sabi Sabi Collection, the Sandringham project transforms a former hunting reserve into a private wildlife haven. This rewilding effort will launch with two distinct lodges: N’weti Camp and Shisaka Camp.

Designed to mirror their natural surroundings, the Luxury Suites offer distinct experiences across the reserve’s two camps. At the adults-only N’weti Camp, suites feature canvas canopies that blend seamlessly into the hillside, while Shisaka Camp’s riverside accommodations are distinguished by elevated rooftop ‘salas’ – secluded nests ideal for reading or resting.
