Key initiatives include an optimised roof design for solar energy, solar-powered hot water system, grey water recycling system, rainwater harvesting tank (also solar-powered), and pool covers designed to minimise water evaporation. These initiatives and the materials used to build the lodge have resulted in minimal environmental impact.
