ABOUT THE RACE
The Mauritius Marathon takes place in one of the most beautiful part of Mauritius and is a fantastic challenge for any avid runner. The course covers 20km of coastal road in the south of the island where you will run alongside one of the island’s most stunning lagoons Baie du Cap, through typical coastal fisherman villages and finish on Saint Felix Beach.
The Marathon, Half-Marathon and 10km races are all AIMS and IAAF Certified. In 2016, only 450 runners from 28 countries competed in the event. Here you will experience a world-class event in a friendly and intimate atmosphere. It’s the perfect opportunity to combine your love of running with an unforgettable and relaxed tropical island getaway.
